WELCOME TO PORTO
At the 2026 FTA World Championships in PORTO, PORTUGAL, Aug 18 - 22, the world’s top athletes really excelled this year culminating in one of the most exciting finals that captivated a record audience. Over 100 athletes from 20 countries competed across categories. In the Men’s division, Siard Span (Netherlands) claimed the win, while Viktoria Derschewizki (Germany) earned a back-to-back victory. In the Junior division, Alvin MEdailleu (Sweden) was crowned the Junior Champion for the second time. He was the first Junior Champion in 2024.
WELCOME TO BARCELONA
At the 2025 FTA World Championships in Barcelona (Sept 5–7 at Parc del Fòrum), the world’s top athletes soared into the finals, delivering gravity-defying performances that captivated global audiences. Over 90 athletes from 21 countries competed across categories. In the Men’s division, Evan Rocha (Austria) claimed gold, while Niklas Distler (Germany) and Robin Steiner (Switzerland) rounded out the podium. On the women’s side, Viktoria Derschewizki (Germany) earned gold, with Maria Petrunicheva (Russia) and Marlene Metzger (Austria) taking silver and bronze. In the Junior division, Mio Grane (Sweden) ) earned gold, with Xavier Plana (France) and Sigve Bergan (Norway) taking silver and bronze.
